A DIFFERENT KIND OF SPORTS HISTORY

Before sports became billion-dollar businesses, the landscape looked very different.

Across America, teams took the field in small towns, factory cities, mining camps and neighborhoods. Some played in established leagues. Others were independent, semi-pro, industrial or town clubs.

They left behind incredible names, colorful characters, strange stories and pieces of local history that are nearly forgotten today.

That’s where Ghost League Supply Co. begins.

REAL HISTORY

The teams featured by Ghost League really existed. But many disappeared long before sports branding became what it is today. Original logos, uniforms and other visual records don’t always survive.

We create original, vintage-inspired interpretations influenced by the team’s era, hometown and the visual language of early American sports.

These aren’t modern teams pretending to be old.

They’re forgotten teams being given another chance to take the field.

WE DIG UP THE TEAMS TIME FORGOT.

We search through old newspapers, scorecards, city archives and forgotten corners of sports history to find real teams that deserve to be remembered.

Some had wonderfully unusual names. Some represented cities that haven’t fielded a professional team in generations. Others played only briefly before disappearing completely.

Our goal is to find those marks and bring them back into the light.

Strange names. Real teams. True stories.
